Simple Offline Budget does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data whatsoever.

Your financial information stays on your device and never leaves it. We have no servers, no databases, no analytics, and no way to access your data even if we wanted to.

What We Don't Collect

• Financial data (bank accounts, transactions, budgets, expenses)
• Device information (device ID, hardware info, OS version)
• Usage analytics (how you use the app, what features you click)
• Location data (GPS, IP address, or any location information)
• Advertising identifiers or tracking cookies
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Any data at all — seriously, nothing

How the App Works

Simple Offline Budget is designed to be 100% offline and private:

• All data is stored locally on your device only
• The app requires no internet connection to function
• No account creation or login required
• No cloud sync or backup to external servers
• No third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking code
• No advertisements

Export/Import Feature

The app includes an optional JSON export/import feature. This feature:

• Saves data locally to your device's storage
• Does not transmit data to any server or external service
• Gives you complete control over your backup files
• Allows you to transfer data between devices manually

You are solely responsible for any exported files and where you choose to store or share them.

PIN Code Security

The optional PIN lock feature:

• Stores your PIN locally on your device only
• Is never transmitted anywhere
• Protects your app data from unauthorized access on your device

No Bank Connections

Unlike many budget apps, Simple Offline Budget:

• Never asks for your bank login credentials
• Does not connect to any financial institutions
• Does not sync with any external financial services
• Keeps your financial data completely isolated and private

Children's Privacy

Since we collect no data from anyone, we also collect no data from children. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy (which would be unlikely since we can't collect less than zero data), we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Our commitment to privacy is fundamental to the app's design and cannot change without completely rebuilding the application.
